REGISTRATION INFORMATION
 
Registration sessions for the 2010 season will be held at Season Tickets Family Pizza at the corner of Ball and Valley View. All participants are assigend to teams on a first come, first served basis. Spots are not guaranteed.

Registration Fees
The 2010 Fee Schedule:

Flag Football: $165.00
Tackle Football: $285.00
Cheerleading: $205.00
Challenger: $50.00

Early Bird Discount
Pay for your complete registration costs in full by February 27, 2010 and receive a 15% discount.

Deposit Fees
A $200.00 check will be collected for the tackle football equipment deposit and two $40.00 checks will be collected for the snack bar duty deposit.  These checks will be held until the end of the season.

We Accept Credit & Debit Cards
For the 2010 registration process is the ability to pay for your registration fee with your credit or debit card.

Fundraising
Mandatory league fundraiser participation or option to buy out for $60.00.

Late Registration Fee
If you register after June 12th 2010, there will an additional late registration fee of $50.00 added to your registration fee.  Late registration for Chearleading will also have the late registration fee of $50.00 plus an additional charge to "RUSH" their uniform order.  So register early!

The deadline to turn in your 2010 sponsorship application is April 30th 2010. Click here to download the form.

Flag Football
Includes jersey, yearbook ( 1 “one-liner”), and pictures.

Tackle Football
Includes jerseys (game & practice), yearbook ( 1 “one-liner”), pictures and use of equipment.

Cheerleading
ncludes practice apparel, safety camp, yearbook ( 1 “one-liner”), and pictures.  New uniforms are required for the 2010 and costs approximately $205.00. This uniform fee is in addition to the registration fee.  The uniform includes: shell, skirt, body-liner, bloomers, hair ribbon, cheer socks and shoes.

Returned Check Fee
A fee of $35.00 will be charged for all returned checks.

Registration Process
Bring the following items to registration:

  • A checkbook, cash, credit or debit card to pay for registration
  • Your checkbook for equipment & snack bar deposits
  • Original and copy of Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Residence (Current Utility Bill or Drivers License)
  • Current School Photo (within last 6 months)
  • Waiver for non-Cypress residence, unless a Pop Warner program does not exist in the city you live in. (you can find the waivers on line or during registration)
  • 3 copies of June 2010 report card will be required before 08/01

Participant must be present at registration to be fitted for jerseys or cheer apparel and to also sign the OEC contract.  We will photo copy and return the original birth certificate to you at the registration table on site.

Scholastic Requirements
Cypress Pop Warner Football & Cheerleading is part of the national Pop Warner Little Scholars organization. The program's philosophy is that academics and athletics go hand in hand. Cypress Pop Warner is required to submit academic information on each participant and each team. The national office uses this information to determine academic eligibility for the program and to award academic honors and scholarships.

We must have grades from the entire We must have grades from the entire 2009-2010 school year for each participant (except those who have not started school yet). If the participant changed schools during the year, then grades from each school attended must be provided. We have to have grades for the entire school year.

If the participant was home schooled, you must provide a letter on letterhead that has the name of the home school as registered with the State (you can create this letterhead). The letter should include a one-line statement saying who teaches the child and that the instructor is certified by California to home school and another statement about the child's academic performance (provide a grade for each subject taught). cipants who do not meet the minimum academic standards of a 2.0 average must have a written statement from the school administration giving permission for that youth to participate in Cypress Pop Warner.

Withdrawals
Refund requests made after Refund requests made after June 20, 2010 will be less the cost of the spirit pack or jersey(s) No refunds will be issued for football participants unless all equipment is returned and paperwork signed off by the Football Director/Executive Board Member. All those claiming a refund must have their written request in to the Cypress Pop Warner Treasurer no later than the date indicated above. No Refunds will be issued after September 1st Regardless of when your child drops.
